The main purpose of having schools is to enable student learning.  In order to achieve that goal, we work diligently to maintain an environment and tone in classrooms and hallways, and on the playground where everyone (adults and students) feels safe and respected.  While the vast majority of school time is very positive and productive, there are occasional disagreements, conflicts, or problems that do arise.  Part of growing up (the kids) and learning (the kids and adults!) is being able to work through the challenges that life can present.  It is how we conduct ourselves particularly when things are not going smoothly, that speaks to the nature and strength of our community.
